yup that seems about right.

My engine temp easily goes to that temp (275 F) and often beyond. I've added an oil cooler and now some Wards fans to help. Yesterday with ambient temps of 92 deg F (33 C), and the fans going I was able to keep the engine below 260.

Also FYI, your parts are ordered!

Thanks Robby

Did you done some update on your bike since you solved the sumping issue ? played with the number of discs ?
I'ld like to see the rpms where the power start to drop on your bike

Did you had a dyno run with the 57H for comparaison ?

All I did about the sumping was re-install the oil pump, then checked after a ride and it seemed better (less oil). I haven't played with the discs yet as I have to buy some new bolts to go in and my tuner is so busy that he doesn't currently have the time to play. The bike is riding so nicely that I'm mostly jsut thinking of foregoing it for now. I never had a run done with the 57's, and current exhaust/head combo I'm afraid.

It seems that my bike develloped a new noise today... At around 1850-1900rpms, there is a ticking sound wich seems to come from the front cylinder lifters. Strange that this appear after 1000kms with the new cam setup...

Could the prelaod have moved after new parts breaked in ?

I would definitely check your pushrods just to rule them out. Could they (the rods) be hitting the tubes near the heads? I could definitely see the tubes shifting if perhaps they weren't completely inserted into the head. Could it be tune related?

Will try readjusting the pushrods... They are tapered so I don't think they rub against the tubes.

Very cool, robby! My winter project will be much of the same. I need some compression.

:-) Yep, pretty much!

Several thousand miles in now since I did my cams and heads and the bike is running great. Still haven't dyno'ed it yet as I will probably add an HPI 55mm throttle body over the next winter break.
