Default Performance Machine Horn Cover Review

Quick product review of the Performance Machine Horn Cover

Before

After

Good quality, finish was 9/10 with slight blemishes on the side where the mounting points are. Install was a bit finicky but not difficult at all (30 minutes). Price, expensive for some glitter but luckily I had some credits to burn off. $100 is steep even for a premium product. I do like the look of it to add to my contrast cut theme.

I would of bought more stuff from their line up to dress up my bike only if it was maybe 25% under msrp. I don't mind spending the money on premium products but comparable to other premium brands with similar finishes and quality, it's price point is still steep for various cosmetic mods.

Here's some other product pictures.

I would buy more products like this if the logo was left off or less prominent. You get enough stuff with different logos on it - starts to resemble a nascar.

I totally agree. Logos and stickers are tacky. Looking through the lineup that was the only one I could find that was the most subtle and like u said...it still is quite "brand focus". The RSD (roland sands) stuff they make is even worse.

Not trying to hijack your post, l really like the look of PM's stuff but cant get past the tacky logo either. I went with an Arlen Ness horn cover and added HD's timer cover for an HD look.

Is it. The same knee clearance as the stock horn? Or less profile?

Where did you get your black 103 derby cover?

The cover is slightly bigger but not by much.

Agreed on the logos comment. I really like my Ness horn cover. You can switch out different points covers. I am running a Suicide Machine Cover. Performance machine stuff is so well made, just not a fan of running a ton of logos on my ride.
