Default Can't get wax off of my fuel tank trim

Hey all, just joined up. Always found a lot of good info on here when I was googling stuff, so I figured I'd give this a shot. Please excuse me if this is a silly question, but I recently bought a 2016 street bob and I love it. Decided to put a fresh coat of wax on it and got a bit on the black fuel tank trim piece that runs down the center of the tank. For the life of me I CANNOT get it off. I have tried everything I can think of, (s-100, mother quick detailer, soap and water, windex, several cleaners a mechanic friend of mine recommended, scrubbing with a dry cloth in an attempt to buff it off) nothing worked. I also have had no luck finding anything online. I have even stopped at two local dealerships to ask and nobody seems to know what will work. Maybe I'm just too **** about it, but Its driving me nuts! I attached a picture, kind of hard to see. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Try a pink pencil eraser. Worked on the black trim of my wife's car.

Creamy peanut butter, it also gives plastic and rubber trim a nice shine. FYI just like antisieze a little goes a long way...

WD-40, Pig Spit, or HD Engine Brightener. I had the same issue.

Man that's nothing, I don't even see any! I always try to not get any on mine but I always end up with a big smudge of it in about the same spot

Wipe it off quick after you smudge it if you see it but after that try a clean tooth brush and gently scrub/brush it off.

Goof-off or Ooops and a soft bristled tooth brush. Next time tape off the tank trim with the blue painters tape.

Rubbing alcohol. We use it cleaning cars up when doing vehicle wraps. Works good on black wrinkle powder coating also.
