Looks awesome man. I'd love to throw a set of low rider wheels on my fat bob. I wonder how much of a pain that would be. I know the front wheel is more narrow then my stock wheel.

Here's a pic of the finished wheels in the sun, and one more of the front wheel in the garage with the door closed as it would look at night under headlights. I like the safety factor from the side

Gunny, now THAT looks right! Very nicely done! I'm telling you, HD should have consulted with you on the S; your bike is stunning

Looks great! I had my doubts about the black wheel with the stripe but it looks awesome. Reminds me of sport bikes and speed.

I also hope someone tries to coat the LR-S wheels with a different gold that is actually vintage gold looking. Like a Smokey Yunick Camaro paint job.

Thanks, I'm really glad others like it as much as I do. I may have been able to live with the gold wheels had they actually been gold but they were more a brown desert camo IMHO. My mantra for building bikes is "lean, mean, and clean" So far this one has not been a disappointment, the torque is amazing. When it comes on the cam, it's kinda like when Mr Sulu (spelling?) flips the warp speed switch on the Enterprise and the stars fly by

What the lr-s should have been.

I like that reflective trim. I think ill use it on my sporty when i add the roadster wheels. Where did it come from. The powder guy?

No, I get all my vinyl striping etc from a place called Certified Graphics in Maryland, these guys make stuff to order all the time and do great work. They made a black vinyl cover for my belt pulley shiny area as well. I tell them what I want and they send it right away. I put the wheel on a fuel funnel so I could spin it around and apply the tape evenly.
