I recently had new bars put on my bike and also Vance & Hines Big Radius exhaust the bike ran fine for about 2 weeks parking in the barn one night the next morning I crank the bike up and it's stuck in about half throttle I shut it down and took it to a friend of mine who has a small shop that works on bikes somehow he got the idle to come back down but not exactly sure of what he done but now the bike runs awful if I twist the throttle wide open suddenly thebike stall completely dead when idling it pops and backfires and sneezes we house swap the ignition coil with a non good coil remove carburetor clean and reinstall and reset quick check fuel filters in the petcock and the inline filter it has electronic ignition so we have not done nothing with points LOL wehave replace the vacuum switch and spark plugs he seems to be running out of things to look at any help would be appreciated really missing my bike

 

All of my bikes have been fuel injected so I can't offer much help. A friend of mine had a similar problem and it turned out to be the positive battery cable making contact with the frame.

It would help if we knew what carb ya got on it and what ignition system. Without proper information, it's just an educated guess.
