i hatethat dam football cover [:@], was woundering if anyone is running the round HD air cleaner cover. if so, can you post some pics for me to see it on a bike, before i go and buy one. thanks jackyl

Where can you get that little round one? Is that an HD part?

I have also seen people running without any cover at all, but there is still a trim plate in the middle. I am not sure where you get those parts either.

HD part #29153-07 out this Spring for '99 and later Twin Cams equipped with SE intake stage kits or high flow A/C assembly - price $39.95. Has rather large cut out opening on bottom almost 1/3 the diameter. Overall diameter is 7". Fits over SE filter or V&H filter just fine.

Some alternatives for a round full coverage A/C cover: I believe the round 6" chrome A/C cover for Mikuni carbs with two open slots on the bottom also fits the SE stage kits, and Ness makes a nice simple round one also that ought to work but around $55. You can check 'em out in the J&P catalog or website.
