Built mine with black 103" cylinders. I really dig the silver/black/chrome combination.




How it looked when I boxed it up to ship to Darkhorse for crankwork/Timken/case boring. It will look basically the same as the above picture when I get it back together, just a little more power.

But Gloss and machines fins looks good.

Not sure how it would be keeping all that shiny black clean.

Thanks for posting this, it's very similar to something I've been considering... As to your question about keeping it clean, I think it may be easier to keep nice than wrinkle black... Areas of mine now have more or less wrinkle, depending how they've been cleaned... It looks fine from a distance, but it's starting to bug me...

What's the big protrusion to the lower let of the throttle body? Cruise control solenoid/controller?

Yes it covers the throttle by wire servo.
