Did the stage II, I feel there is a difference... and after the 1,000 mile break in and with a dynotune, she runs flawless.
Lessons learned:
*I think the stage II makes a difference, but what kind of difference are you looking for ??
**I should have done the cylinder Heads and stroker as well, and didn't. Had other choices for cams? I went with 203's stock to stage II.
**Got a set of pipes in stage II which I didnt need, and paid for?? It was not mentioned in the 07 catalog?? and the dealer didnt mention it. I Judged my purchase on what the Photo shows.
Your looking at over 2,000.00 if done by dealer. 9 hours service @65.00hr. Plus you need to re-dyno another 300.00
Simply I did what I could afford at the time, If I want to upgrade the cylinder heads, I will need to invest again in service hours and dyno tune. So, Review what needs to be disassembled anyway, during the upgrades to save bigcash later on. do your homework, ask questions, and there are alot of great guys on the forum that will help you out.
I will forward you the dyno tune results tomorrow.

You'll definitely notice a difference. I would get gear drive cams too AND I'd let a good indy shop that knows what they're doing do the work NOT a Harley dealership. You're almost guaranteed to get better performance from a shop that actually knows what they're doing and knows what components work well together.

let you know in 2 days. going from stage 1 88 inch to stage 2 95 with cams, heads, intake/throttlebody and some compression. don't have loads of dough so i'm doing the work my self and should be dropping it off at the dyno on tuesday morning. according to the guys at woods performance cams i should definatly be able to notice the difference.

My bike is a completely different animal after the 95 kit.
I have a 10 to 1 motor with C/P pistons and HQ ported heads and .575 cams with a Rinehart 2 to 1 and a Mikuni 42. it is very powerful, I can only describe is as the feeling you get when your drivin a Hi torque muscle car, like my 6 pack challenger. or a LS 454 Chevelle. Even in 5th gear on a 50 mph roll it just runs out like mad!

my 02fxd was/and has been alot of work,,I did my own work,,but it takes lots of research, there are web sites that help, other boards to get info,,learn which tools you need which you can find ways to do without,,You can change your own cams,,but should find the right place to do your heads,,and jugs,,,You'll need the right combo of parts,or they work against each other,,I agree on finding an independent shop to do the work,,and You have to research which is the most reliable, trustworthy,,,knowledgeable,,,ect,,I shyed away from high comperession,,,the woods cams like high compression,,I went woth S&S cams cause they have the patent on the gears,,and have kits that are a great deal,,,figure out which adjustable igition system is best for you,,I used daytona twin tech,,,Ive been work'in on my sled sence I got it,,and its got lots of changes,,,Im not done by a long shot,,I"ve got the mik42 and the supertrapp superMeg 2/1 on the bench, just had to put in a stator,by cycle electric inc..,,I want the rear pully re-done with that kewl tefflon, that lasts longer/forever and doesnt squeek,,,and a new starter from all ***** racing,,,my DD6 needs some new stuff, there coming out with a new way to adjust the primay chain,,Oh yea I got a new primary chain on the bench,,,ect ect,,,,
