Default Bassani Pro Streets! (pics)

Some of you may remember my trouble with Samson and their piece of **** pipes this past summer. Long story short, the pipes were a year old and cracked up. The friggin' front pipe came off in pieces! I was able to do a little riding through the summer but the problem kept getting worse and worse so the bike has been parked for months. I finally was able to spare the funds to replace them with a new set of Bassani's.Took four weeks to get `em, enjoy.

Also got a new air cleaner cover from Extreme Custom Engraving since I last posted pics. Ditched the skull cover for one more politically incorrect.

Looks nice ....

Can the samson pipes not be welded back together? I guess I don't understand what was happening? I'd be willing to take those and your old a/c off your hands. You have paypal? P/M me.

Craig, man them Bassini's look very good!! How's the sound compared to the Samsons? I was looking at the Ray Price(Samson) 2 into 's, but I think you've helped keep me from wasting money on their product(s). No satisfaction from customer service?
BTW, going with the less PC air cleaner was a good move too. I wouldn't be able to ride in Detroit with it, though

Thanks! These pipes not quite as loud and raw as the Samsons but they sound great. Little deeper, throatier sound. Still pretty loud, about like a shorter V&H exhaust. I 'may' get the straight through cores for them.

I'll start another thread in the General Discussion forum about the Samsons.

Craig,

I've been eyeballing the same pipes for my bob. However, like your Samsons, I've heard of some issues with a couple of the Bassani PSs and welds/mounts coming undone. Keep us updated. Love the sound of them, though, and I'd actually still consider them after what I've read.

Nice job Craig.

Those pipes add a nice touch to an already tuff machine.

How do they hit it??

the South will rise again.
