Hello gang. There's been a fair amount of talk about brake upgrades lately and I thought I would share my solution. It's a v-rod brembo rotor (QTM), brembo caliper (Ducati/Aprilia), and QTM 65mm adaptor. It might not be pretty, but it works well.

How big of a project (and how expensive) was that?

 

Every thing is store bought and I found great deals on ebay. It all started with finding the $400 rotor for $75, then I picked-up the caliper for $50. Both were new. The adaptor came from QTMI, the Brembo importer for the US. I had to shim it a little but it came out sweet for around $200m total. I got lucky.

The rotors are 320mm / 12.6"
