Brilliant idea, thought I would pull the gas tank to check out relocating turn signals. Wiggle here and there and then I hear snap and the wonderful smell of gasoline. Snapped the friggen fuel line. Looking for quick responses here. Tomorrow is suppose to be awesome weather and I may have screwed myself. Anyone done this?Did the dealer have it in stock? What was the cost? I'm hoping for a yes, yes, and $30. Thanks
Assuming you broke the male quick coupler on the fuel hose to the intake? If so I have broke it and I replaced the plastic piece with a metal one from the local auto parts store. I forget what size but you could match it with your left over piece. Also doing this you will no longer have the self quick disconect you would need the automotive disconnect tool which a kit of plastic disconnects is around 10 dollars. All could be had for under 30 dollars I am sure to fix it. Can't answer on if the local Harley shop would have or not and what they get for the part. I skipped them.
My brother pulled my tank and snapped the fuel line just as you did. He payed for it cause he felt he screwed up, so I don't know exactly how much it cost, but I vaguely remember it being in the $30-$35 range. I was storing it at his garage for the winter and he was trying to check out the wire routing for me while I was't there. He had to call a couple dealers to find one, and one nearby had it in stock and he had it that afternoon. We both learned the lession of disconnecting the fuel line before raising the tank too high.

I just checked on one for my 07 Dyna Super Glide. Could not just buy the quick disconnect. Had to buy the disconnect, hose an piece that connects to FI as a unit. 48.00 an in stock here.
Part number 62349-04E. Zanotti price 26.20 This is for a 07 as you do not show what year your bike is but may match.
Make sure the dealer sells you the latest version, the part # has been superceded several times. The latest iteration looks like the ones on `08 bikes and has a metal connector on the FI module end vs. plastic. Mine broke also late last year and it was covered under warranty. On my `07 FXDL the part # was 62349-04C (from the dealer's receipt) but it looks like they superceded it again so 62349-04E should be the correct version.
