Default Jammer 49mm fork boots

Has anyone tried the new 49mm fork boots ( gaitors ) from Jammer? I have tried the Daystars ( didn't like them ) and now the 69 ~ 70 Triumph boots ( not bad, but not perfect ) and am looking for some imput.

What didn't you like about the Day Star fork boots? I'm waiting on a set to come in now.

The Daystar boots are way too long, like 11" or so and way too fat ( like twice as wide as the fork tube ). I had mine pulled down all the way to the fender mounts. They also always seemed to sag toward the side, which didn't look too good. I've seen guys cut theirs and then have to re-glue the seam and zip-tie them. That just seemed like too many potential problems to me. I just got the Triumph ones and they fit perfectly, but don't snap over the dust boots or lower-leg. They look pretty good, but I'd rather not see the chrome dust boot and there isn't any rubber ones available yet.

then pull them over the dust boots i did...that is the point of the fork boots... to do it you just have to spirts it with water then use something plastic like a toothbrush and slide that under the boot to use it asa lever and pry it over the boot... it should be vert tight so it does not allow crap into the boot... it works and looks great! i left justa small lip of chrome showing on mine

removed my fork boots found they was rubbing on stanction leaving black marks was worried that overtime the rubber marks would build up and cause fork seals to leak

hey joe this may be a dumb question but the upper covers are only PVC cut and snapped on huh, were can I get a set of leathers to match or doyou think the PVC could be painted to match my lower wrinkle legs or would it just pop off while installing it? any ideas would be great.
