My manual says in the rear wheel removal section to remove the brake caliper assembly, then remove the axle.&nbsp\\; But in the brake section it says remove the axle, THEN the caliper.

Blu, you might have to hit the axle pretty hard with a brass drift
if love taps are not moving it at all.

Mr. Puddle,
&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\; I have the belt off, and have hit it with a hammer dampened with a wood block.&nbsp\\; The bolt turns, but will not back out.&nbsp\\; The bolt should just come out over the muffler, right?&nbsp\\; Do I need to remove the brake caliper?

The bike is on a lift, with some of the weight of the wheel relieved with a 2x4.&nbsp\\; Here are some pictures.

The axle bolt goes through the caliper It must be in a bind to be that hard to remove. Be sure and remove the upper bely guard or you will get hung up on it.
