Default drag bars?

I've always liked the look of drag bars so I'm looking at putting a set on my 07 Dyna Custom. Can anyone tell me what size works best? I'm 6ft and the bike has forward controls but I want to use the stock cables and controls. I see there and 6"& 8". I like the ones with the one piece risers.

Check out 2007fxdc's bike, I believe he's got the 8"s with the integrated risers. They look really good and should be comfortable for your size. Your stock cables will work fine.

I have the 7" HD bar on my Street Bob and had 4" risers on my '95 Superglide. Both work(ed) fine. When you go with the 4" you need a wide bar to avoid that the signals will hit the tank.
Have a look at my albums to see the two bikes.

These are 8" rise. I didn't care for the stock cable length, so I went 2 inches shorter when I did the chrome controls, grips, cables, etc... With Jackyl's 3" tank lift, it works perfectly. Close, but perfect. As you can see, I moved my signals from the bars. Zero room for them on the bars...

Creeked1, really like the bars.
Whats to keep the original upper clamp with the idiot light pack from clamping up? Is the wiring harness too short?

Looks like it would / could work.

Thanks

I have 7" Carlini bars. Got all my wiring inside them and they feel great.

I run Wild-1 model 507 drags. 10" rise with 12" pull-back. You get that drag bar look without leaning too far forward. Standard cables worked. I changed the brake cable though because of the banjo bolt orientation.
