Glad to hear you and more importaintly the wife enjoy the backrest... looks great on the bike. We treid to keep the design simple and still practicle

the HA backrest with the small pad will fit/look perfect with your seat.

Now, the backrest is either off or on, correct?
What I mean is, the bracket is one piece so if you want it off, you unbolt the whole bracket...not just slide the backrest off or something, right?
That looks good enough that it could stay on all the time IMO.

How heavy duty is this back rest? I love the look of it but my wife has enough junk in her trunk to start her own junk yard!

thick piece of metal... you may have to ask the company about weight limits though...LOL

yup I would just uninstall with the rear pillion on my bike... I kinda think the bike looks better 2up now than solo too.
