this backrest is awesome... To me it looks perfect on the bike and the ease of detachability is first rate...My wife thinks the pad is in the perfect location as opposed to the uncomfortable mid back location of my other back rests. I am really surprised I don't see more on these forums...
Also I epoxied my fork lowers gloss black...
my sissy bar will fit 02-05 dyna models(with or without detachable side plates) and 04+ xl models with rigid sideplates... the newer bikes have a much wider fender than my 7 1/2".
I had both the sideplates and sissy bar powdercoated black... the sissy bar is a khromewerks round sissybar. It is available in chrome for your wider fenders, but, not the fatbob I don't think. I think the 06+ dyna has an 8 3/4" fender and the fatbob 9 1/4
if I remember correctly. If someone want to buy the sissy and sideplates they are available. I also have a powdercoated rack to attach to the assembly as well.

I have the same sissybar for sale, but it is for the 06-up dyna models. Mine is chrome though.
