I tried to see if I could get a Corbin dual tour seat for my Fat Bob through an outside vender, but no luck, they tell me that Corbin seats wants to start selling direct, no dealers, so we are stuck with paying corbin seats high retail prices ($549 in my case).

Has any one found a good source for ordering a new corbin seats in particular - dual tour for a Fat Bob (#HD-FXD-FB-8-DT) for a discounted price. A typical dyna seat (#HD-FXD-6-DT) is suppose to be different according to corbin. Is fitment different or is it a marketing ploy to get Fat Bob owners to order more seats instead of trying to pick up a used one?

 

Corbin does like selling direct. You can generally find some used on eBay, or maybe something that was ordered and never really used. That's been the way they've worked for many years now.

Mike, I have the exact seat you are looking to get. I don't know where you live but I bought mine from Road Rider in San Jose, CA at a discount of 10% from Corbins price. I live about 2 1/2 hours from Hollister, CA where they are made and the wife and I went down there together to have it custom fit anyway we wanted. They have people show up even from out of state and it's one of the best ways since you can pick and have them alter the shape if necessary and pick all paterns and colors of choice.

 

Wouldn't have mattered you'd pay the same price if you got them through J&P.

 

I looked around before ordering mine. Other site said 10-20% discount but for some reason they were starting at a higher price so Corbin was cheaper.

Been looking around on ebay, just concerned about the different part numbers between the regular Dyna and the Fat Bob.

Has any anyone tried a regular Dyna seat on a Fat Bob - any difference?????
