Default Battery tender pigtail...where do you put it?

I have the HD Battery tender (made by Deltran which you can get on Amazon for $28) that comes with the plug in pigtail that stays on the bike. I just stick it under the battery box cover and remove the cover when I want to charge the battery...(storing more than 2 weeks). So do you guys leave the plug hanging out or have any creative ideas for mounting it so I don't have to remove the cover?

The HD one comes with the quick disconnect...and I like that location.

I couldn't get mine to fit inside the battery cover, so I laid it on top, under the edge of the seat (it wiggles, so it's not pinched). I like what WS6 did; might have to try that.

Well I got it. Took the seat off and routed it through to the other side so it sticks out behind the fuse box cover. Fits perfect. Thanks guys. I'll take a pic and post it.

Does this qualify? Since this photo was taken, I've painted the electrical cover with the HD Wrinkle Black out of a rattle can. Unobtrusive unless you are looking for it, gives me a connection for charging the bike, and I use it to run my heated vest. I've also had the guys at Powerlet make me a 2 prong SAE to mini usb cable, with a built in step down to 5 amp service. Gives me the ability to charge my cell phone, or bluetooth dongles while stopped.

I did something similiar but it's on the battery side still. When I pull my bike in the garage the plug is on the side where the tender sits.

That looks great. Where did you get that plug?

Like you, I just stuck it out behind the battery cover and it is right there to plug in...other than that I do not ever notice it!
