SE synth is a blend of reg and synth oils. I reccomend using the search feature here because this topic has been beaten to death and back!

I use Mobil1 V-twin in the engine and primary. Redline Shockproof in the trans. Mobil1 gear lube will quiet the trans down and make it shift smoother, but Redline really takes it to another level. The bike never was all too happy with Syn3.

There are tons of topics on here that go into great decision about synthetic oils and which is best, but everyone has to make their own choice, obviously synthetic out preforms dino oil but run what you want, besides no one is going to pony up any monies to replace your engine when it fails, and no ones going to take responsibility either. I say do your own thing, but only after doing the appropriate research.

M1 V-Twin in crank.
HD 360 in Primary.
Redline Heavy Shock in Trans.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it!
