Very nice!
Your bars are similar to what I went with. Hoping to post some pics soon.

You should lower it. I think that thunderheader would scrape if I sat on the bike.

Big difference once I got the new (black) pads direct from Lyndall. They were a prototype at the time, but now you get them most places. The gold pads did not have the same grab with the Lyndall rotors, but worked great with stock rotors.

So if you buy Lyndall rotors, be sure to get the new black pads. Call them and ask Paul for the right part number before your order.

With 49mm front ends, not much. I've tried 2 brands, the SDC brace and a Custom Chrome brace. They increase stiction and aren't really necessary with good fork internals like Racetec gold valves or Ricor Intiminators, or in my case Andreani Cartridges.

I put my brace back on recently just to experiment, but haven't noticed any difference with the Andreani internals.

Well, Ive gotta lower my bike.

I raised the rear 1" and lowered the front .5".

Since the front went down, Ive noticed the back of my neck gets REALLY stiff and achy.

Best I can figure is the angle change puts my head in such a position that my neck doesn't like.

SO..... Im gonna drop her *** down.

Might not belong in this thread anymore since I may put my forwards on too but be gentle with my exile.

I put in about 100 miles this morning and here is the good and the bad.
Bad: getting up onto the interstate I dragged the thunder header right under the foot peg, ripping the header wrap. Going to need to be careful on that side in the turns.
Good: The thunder header sounds fantastic, and seems to have really helped the low end grunt.
Good: the 10" Tbars really brought the steering alive, and made my arm height and seating position, right where it feels it should be.
Good: The Ness fairing is amazing. at speeds about 50mph, the wind has been marginalized more than I could have imagined, and the faster you go, the better it performs.Name: get-attachment.aspx-2_zpsyrv5cf5p.jpeg

Still lovin' these leather-leatherpros. I got called in to work for an hour this morning and stuffed everything I needed in them, then spent a little time with my PV auto-tuning those 777s. Not a bad start to Sunday.

Squid,

What steering damper do you have on your bike?

Can you post some close-ups of the mounts?

Thanks

While I'm down for surgery and the bike is down I'm finishing up the list of a few things I need. I need to replace my motor mounts. Any run running or have found a good replacement or do most people just stick to the OEM and add stabilizers?
