Default Fitment of turn signal relocation kits

So I ordered up a bunch of parts from the dealer. I want to install a Sissybar...

The dealer ended up getting me parts for a Street Bob.

I am wondering if anyone has any experience, or knows if the Turn Signal Relocation Kit and Docking Hardware for a 2009 Street Bob will work on a 2009 Super Glide Custom.

Part numbers 68227-09 and 53797-09

I'd think that if those kits state it only fits Street Bobs, then it probably only does.

Why not just get the proper kits for your model? Not sure I understand why you're looking at Street Bob items...when you have a Superglide.

I ordered Super Glide relocation kit and brackets - didn't notice that they were Street Bob parts until I got home and pulled the boxes out of the bags.

Reason I was asking is that I like the design of the Street Bob kit from both an asthetic and functional point of view versus the Super Glide kit... and I was trying to save myself another trip to the dealer.

Just installed a lay down plate and signal relocate kit on my FXDC today. Looking at the parts between the two kit part numbers you show, I'd have to think the different rear fender is the reason for the FXDB kit. As to whether you could make it fly... All I can tell you is the FXDC kit is fairly detailed and clearly made to fit that model, both physically and from a wiring stand point. Two areas where I'm sure the Street Bob would differ.

The more I look at at, the more I'm convinced that the FXDB kit won't work - even though I prefer it. It's alright though, considering I had originally ordered the FXDC kit. Got pix of yours installed?

The other option I was thinking was that perhaps you could call the dealer that ordered the parts and ask them what the discrepancy is all about?
