I have a 1980 FXWG that I got a couple years ago. I'm having to rebuild the engine and seen that the wiring is a mess. It is all hardware store quick connectors, wires twisted with black tape and just a mess. So I bought an OEM wiring harness for it. The problem is the colors don't match up with the old harness nor does the new one really match with the Haynes Manual I have. The schematic in the Haynes Book is just a general picture that covers a whole list of bikes. I was wondering if anyone may have an actual FXWG wiring diagram. If nothing else the way the dash wires would be better then nothing.
