Default Harley Boom Audio speakers on my Fat Bob!

Just purchased the new Harley Boom Audio handlebar speakers....still undecided if I like the look or not. They are actually a flat black which matches my denim paint. What do you guys think? Trying to decide wether to keep them or not!
Also do they look better closer to the center of the handlebars or further apart?

Mickey

Kind of big for my taste. They really stick out. Maybe if you had a fairing you could hide them behind.

Try mounting them upside down, that may help the "mouse ears" look you have going on.

BTW- how do they sound while running at speed?

I tried the underneath mounting but they were to big and interfered with the steering...

Hmmm... too bad, judging by the photos it looks like they would clear your tank if you put them spread out as far as possible. Do they sound good, though?

how about on the risers, sticking out to the sides? Nice and tucked in between your bars and upper triple?

Yup, they look to big up there. I like the idea of the risers. Maybe that is possible.

I looked at the risers and the clamps are good for 1.25" bars. The risers are a little thicker. But the screws are long enough to work there just might be a small gap. Haven't heard them yet...trying to decide wether to keep them and make it work or not before I hook them up.

Dude, just my opinion and with all due respect... Lose 'em, they look ugly as hell.. But it's your bike, whatever makes your hair fly back. Enjoy!!
