You can get a jack cheap from Walmart or any auto parts store. You will need to lift the back up before you can get that bolt out. Also turn the bolt head so the flat edge is on the tire not the pointed edge. It'll take some coercing.
I too ran into this problem. My local bike shop charged me about the same price as it would have cost to buy a proper bike jack. So I just brought it to them to install.
Made it easier on me plus they already had loctite.
This may be a stupid idea but I could swear I have done this to mine. Can you pull the signal light out from the fender as you are backing the bolt out?
Where the hole is in the upright, cut it out to a slot, like the demountable uprights. Loosen the bolt a bit, and slide the upright into place without having to remove the bolt.. You can also do the same for the front mount if you want.
I had the same problem with my 2010. I eventually used the jack from my Explorer (would not recommend as it was not stable) let the tire drop and took some air out of the tire and was able to get the bolts out. It was not easy but it worked. At the time I did not have a bike jack but my method was definitely sketchy. I had my old lady holding the bike while I was wiggling the bolts out, again not recommended because she could not have held the bike up if it started to go.
Also, while you're in there make sure none of the wires under the fender come loose from the clips. If they do and run the tire you'll have some wiring to do.
If it were me I would go ahead and buy a motorcycle jack they are not very expensive and extremely useful in many conditions as you are finding out right now. I bought mine on e-bay and I think it was about eighty bucks. Good luck.
