Default Question for you TC96 Dyna Owners

i have noticed there is a hose on the back of the tc96 motor that doesnt go anywhere. does anyone know what this hose is for? its on the back of the motor in the empty space above the tranny. sorry i dont have a pic.

thanks for any help.

I thought it was a gas tank over flow. In the fall when I put the bike away for winter I filled the tank right to the brim and fuel started running out the a fore mentioned hose. Just a little mind you.

I will have to look at it and trace it back but every bike I have owned it was always a gas tank vent. So when the pressure rising in heat, the tank can push excess pressure out the tube. This is to prevent what I call vapor locking the motor. Basically it helps venting pressure from the tank to ease starting on hotter days on stock compression. When you build a vtwin with higher then a 10:5:1 comp ratio and don't use a compression release setup, it can be difficult to start your motor as well. But that is a differant thing all together.
