After looking at a lot of options I think I like the fxdx tank the best. Unfortunately you cannot buy the emblems/decals. Can someone with a fxdx please measure the height of the letters and width from the H to the N. I'm thinking of having them painted on or maybe having them made in vinyl. This is the 1 I'm talking about. Thanks

 

You certainly can buy the emblems, have you tried Dennis Kirk, or J&P, or ebay, tons of emblems on ebay.

I, too, wanted to use the FXDX tank emblems but they are silkscreened on and as such are not a decal...I went with the logo from a V-Rod...very similar but small chrome letters

 

Yeah I've looked at all of them and like Sharkey said they a silkscreen and not available any other way. I think they look great and just wanted to get the dimensions as I think the size is just right. If no one responds with measurements I have this template that I can print out in different sizes and see how it looks.

 

12 1/2" total length. 14/32" in height. It is hard to get a standard measurement for each letter because of the style. Roughly 24/32" each

Yeah; each individual letter...a PITA to line up...I used the beam from a laser level. They're on a long carrier strip, but sag when you try to line it up horizontally; best to have the tank off and on it's side

 

Prob best idea. You could adjust according to taste and have something "one of a kind"

 

jbrown4217 What size did you end up going with and did you go with a specific font or just go off the stencil thumbnail you posted? Im in Afghanistan so sizing it up on my bike aint really an option but Im hoping to get some printed up so I can slap them on when I get home, if I can find someone to print them... I love the way it looks on your scoot.
