Battery Cover Bags
#21
I kinda dig the one where a guy bolted on a softail tool-box, but I'd rather have one that matches the size and shape of the battery cover.
Willie & Max, I believe. My favorite independent carries them.
It does look like someone cut the straps off of a purse. And all this time I thought you were simply evil.
You can do a lot with the bag. A fork bag is the simplest, but I did not care for the functionality or the look. I found this bag for $32 at an indy shop. Willie something was the brand name (I cut the yellow tag off).
I removed the band, and used two nuts and bolts to fasten the bag to the box. It's a hard backed bag, so it is flush and very stable. Also, the clasp is so much easier than buckles, I can open it on the interstate and get something out of it, if needed.
