Sweet! post up the pic of the powder coated ring. a sedona orange ring would be sweet.

i need to adjust it a little, its off just a bit, but overall, i am extremely happy with this mod. should have done this sooner. incoming is the solo bag from badgcustoms.com, and i should be done modding for a while. maybe grips and pegs and whatnot.

so glad this NON compatible part is working for us new wide glide owners. ordered mine about 10 mins ago from zanotti for 326. part # 67700043a. cant wait to install it. hope its as easy as everyone says as im not too handy.

 

took me literally 5 mins. most car mods i do take 4X longer than estimated, but this one was a snap. take off ring with phillips, unplug old, plug in new, put back in, put ring on, don't tighten all the way, find a wall, make it level, then tighten it.

i am noticing that my high beam is off to the right a little, so either the non standard bucket causes this, maybe there is some play in there, and just a loosen and readjust and retighten is in order, or maybe just move the bucket a little.

 

short of removing the LED from the bucket again and reseating it, there was no play to push the light a little to the left to make the High beam centered. i looked to see if there was a way to adjust the bucket, and there doesnt look like there be a way without bending and what not. i may go buy the bucket when it isnt back ordered to test it out, and if it still off centered, then i will be sad.

 

 

I put that lamp along with the aux passing lamps in my fatboy.... They are awesome worth every damn penny

My buddy has a standard lamp and we put the bikes side by side while ridingmon the local highway. The led lamp outshines him BIG TIME..... Itnis anbright clean white.

I love them

It take a but of time to align all 3 lights, but it was also the first time I had ever done that.

 

not sure if I like the look of a wg with passing aux lamps. if i liked the look, i deff would have got them.

 

Would this work on 2011 Street Bob?
