Talking Dyna Wide Tire Conversion

Hi Everyone, if you know Heartland USA then you know we specialize in wide tire conversions kits for Softail model Harley Davidson's. Well times are turning and we have been working really hard over here at the shop on 2 new conversion kits for 2006-present Dyna models. The first one is a 240 conversion and the second is a 200 conversion.
What do you think? 200 or 240? Give me some feedback . I would love to here your opinion on these new conversion we are about to launch!!!

240 for me....

but...

The price is up there and the inability of using my stock backrest side plates (yes i know that i would have to fab a back rest) and stock saddle bag mounts is the ultimate deciding factor.

I did away with side plates because I didnt want them interfering with my ghost brackets/hardbags/lights and went with an underseat backrest mount. Kury makes a really nice one, that I have used for a couple years now with no issues. It takes the standard, narrow (like XL) sissybars. This would work nice in a wider fender situation.

I think with minor adjustments most newer dynas can run 200's without the kit so really the kit would only be worth it to me anyway to go with the 240. However because of the price I will probably just go with a 200 and the stock set up. Another thing is it looks like your stuck with just one seat option after the kit. However they do look very nice and if i had the cash laying around it would be up there on my list of things to do.

I like that rear fender far better than the stock WG even if you didn't go wider.

It does look nice but I think the biggest thing is not the shape differences from stock its the profile of the tire being more inside the fender than stock.
