Default 103 CI Fat Bob

So I guess 103 CI engines are now the standard.

Wonder what's involved in pushing my 96 CI 08 Fat Bob out to 103. Can't be as simple as swapping pistons and cylinders can it?

Might as well go to 107ci, can also be done just as easy and without boring cases.

So, now I'm thinking 103 Pistons and jugs, mild street cam, Edelbrock or Screaming Eagle heads, and a dyno tune.

Buying a set of heads is gonna be $$$.

Just send yours out for port/polish and maybe a slight bump to compression (~10:1).

Ya know, Tman performance isn't far from Florence. Although he is a little pricey on his machine work. Kernersville, NC (Winston). Nice ride up 220.

My bike is a 13 Super Glide Custom with the 96in motor.
I know this is an old thread but my question is around using Harley OEM parts which there seem to be no shortage of.
I was browsing Ebay and a number of 103 and 107 OEM take off top end parts are readily available.
At really affordable prices. And I can do the work myself

Do the 103 and 107 cylinders bolt right onto my 96in bottom end?
Can I reuse my existing heads or do I need the heads from the matching cylinders.
Then what about gaskets?

Thanks in advance for your expertise
