Default heated grips?

I own a 2010 wide glide. Any opinions for which brand heated grips will fit and do the best job? I heard of Oxford Heaterz and Heat Demons. Any suggestions?
Thanks

+1 get some heated gloves, that's what I did instead of grips. I already had the non heated grips that I wanted on the bike. So get a nice non heated pair that you like and pick up some gerbing's heated gloves!

I asked my mechanic/shop owner the same question and got the same answer, heated gloves are the way to go. He organizes Polar Bear runs and compared heated grips vs heated gloves on separate rides. Grips only heat palm side so fingertips and back of hand are still cold. And with regular gloves on too, the heat from grips get "muted".

I had Heat Demons on my old bike, works great but not as warm as heated gloves, remember wind blows right on your knuckles.

The new HD ones work well old ones had issues.
How ever As much as I stick with HD products this is one time I wander.
The heat demons install inside the bar and have a proven track record. They aint cheap to do right and many riders screw things up trying to install them.
(Most do own up to it they just start a thread about how HD sucks.)
Heated gloves while a bit of a pain to keep track of do a better job at a much lower over all cost and anyone can wire it up.

Gloves work better for me, partly for the reasons stated by others but also because I ride with 2 fingers over the clutch and brake levers so a heated grip won't help those guys much but gloves do. Gerbings (and get the thermostat too)

I have the factory heated grips on my Limited and although anything warm is better-than-nothing when it's cold, I would never spend money to add heated grips based on my experience.

I've never had heated gloves either so I can't vouch for them, but if I were about to spend some money to keep my hands warm, I'd be trying gloves. I know from experience that heated grips don't do the job.

I have the heat demons and for real cold you will want heated gloves. I really like my heat demons when not REAL cold though. I ride with no gloves when other have them on. No fairing as stated gloves are your #1 option. JMHO
