Default Bel Ray in the Engine?

So I've seen where there a lot of riders are runnin Bel Ray in the Trans & Primary. Why not the Engine too? The reason why I ask is its winter here & its time to change to 10W40 and all I can find around here is Bel Ray 10W50. I used Mobil 1 20W50, but there 10W40 is for the 4T crotch rocket liquid cooled bikes.
