Default Service Manual

I am enjoying my 2004 Dyna Low Rider after a 30 year hiatus from riding. Any suggestions on which service manual to buy? Harley manual, Clymer or other publisher? Thanks

I would go with the HD manual.
You can sometimes find used ones on ebay or craigslist.

Bought a factory hard copy on eBay $40.00 shipped. It was worth the money.

The H-D manual is the only one to have. The other 'brands' are not anywhere near as complete as the H-D is.

Get the Harley Manuals. You will also want the "Electrical Diagnostic Manual" and the "Parts Catalog" Don't go cheap here, get the real books. The old saying that an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure holds so very true. If all you're going to do is change your oil and check your tire pressures; you probably don't need any of these manuals . . . but if you're going to do anything more . . . or . . . if you're going to have someone who doesn't have (or can't or won't read) these manuals work on your bike . . . . duh!
