Default Screamin Eagle Heavy Breather

I had my doubts, but I did as the HD service tech told me. I had installed last week the SEPST in the Super with a fuelmoto highflow a/c that I already had on the bike and the bike dynoed at 77.47 hp and 89.10 lb ft tq. That made a huge difference over the stock ECM settings, but that wasn't enough for me, hp junkie I must admit. I installed the Screamin eagle heavy breather and had it touch-up tuned and what a difference that made. Dynoed at 81.12 hp and 95.44 tq. I would have never believed a air cleaner would make such a difference. Not bad numbers for a stock 96.

Can we see the curves? Are the peaks in the same place(s)?

Those numbers were very close to what I got out of mine with pipes, /ac and sepst. My numbers are in my sig.

'scuse my ignorance on this heavy breather contraption, but u think I could expect similar gains on my bike? 2000 fxdwg (carbed not injected). Its got T.Header,510 cams, and an open element k&n.The carb was jetted to match intake and exhaust and a thunder slide installed as well. Its in excellent tune with perfect tan plugs, and no popping. I've never really liked the looks of the snorkel, but if I can pick up 3 horse and 5 ft lbs I might have to rethink the whole matter...

It might Badillac. The way the tech explained it to me was the air and fuel molicules are better atomized for burning than with the conventional a/c. I'm not a scientist, but I can tell you for a fact alot more hp and tq than I would have ever believed. I went back and edited my previous tq findings. Actually the tq was just a shade over 89 lb ft.
