Default Do you have Carburetor or EFI

Simple question, two options...

I prefer Carburetor, been at EFI twice, not again.... To me its just too much for Harley to have such modern stuff inside....

EFI is nice if you want to blow a wad of money having it dialed in! Pipes, breather, cams... I don't remember my Evos ever being so difficult or needing to buy a bunch of aftermarket parts to get it to sound like a Harley!

Rite....The EFI in stock trim sounds like an angry Massey Furgason with the idle too high!

I had a bad experience with a PC on the only EFI bike I have had. Some people really think they are the cat's meow! I am set in my ways I guess-all three Harleys in our family are carbed!

Not that simple. I have one of each; carb on the 2000 FXDL and EFI on the 2010 RG. Since the Poll is on the Dyna Forum, I voted carb.

BTW, I'm happy with both set-ups. The EFI has been totally reliable.

Carb, but jealous of the EFI bikes my buddies have, especially on a cold morning.

The ONLY thing I like about the EFI, the early morning start-right-up thing! But of course they now idle high because every Tom, Dick and Hairy just HAD to have a bigger stator for all their gadgets that they just can leave in their pocket or at home!

One of my future changes is to convert from EFI to carb. Then I will be happy with my dyna. I hate not being able to put my hands on stuff and making it mine. In the wind.
