Default Does anyone know?

The Wide Glide has more rake than other Dynas. Does anyone know if the frame is different or HD just rakes the triple trees? If they just rake the triple trees since my Nightrain has a wide glide front end do you think those trees will fit my train?

Thanks.

'06 DWG: 34-deg. in the frame + 2-deg. in trees = 36-deg. total rake.
'04-'05 DWG: 32-deg., frame only.

Interesting! i didn't know they added the 2 degrees in the trees on the new ones... random fact that i should prolly put in the memory bank!

Hey, thanks. Now I just have to see if I can use the raked Triple Trees and how the length of the fork legs compare... and find one that is totaled >except< on the front end <grin>.

It is only on the Wide Glides... that's why I guessed it was raked trees. They sure look good but I'm stuck with this one! <grin>

The trees are also raked 2 degrees back then, the WG and low rider shared the same frame, difference in rake was the trees, and why the low rider had more rake than the rest of the line except the WG

IIRC, the Softails are 32+2.
Seen it in here somewhere, so it must be true!
