Hey everyone just got me my first harley, 2013 street bob. Looking to do some mods to it already, i hate stock, lol. Anyways lookin into gettin new bars for it. I've been looking around and like the look of the santee apes or maybe some z bars. What i need to figure out is how to determine what size bars i need, (height,width, pull back). Im only 5' 7". The stock bars feel good to me. I was thinkin maybe some 12" apes.

 

Just put 12's on mine and feel good. I'm 5'10", the 10's feel really good to me as well; but I don't care for the really tall apes though. I like the low and lean look better.

 

Ya im not a fan of really tall apes either... do you have pics of yours?

 

my sig pic shows my scoot with 14" black apes from drag specialties...I'm 5'6" on a perfect day and my scoot is my daily driver as well as my getaway vehicle and I'm very comfortable with the feel.

I apologize but I sure don't. They came from a catalog at my local indy shop so I don't remember any specifics other than 14" rise and about 10" width at the bottom. Sorry.
