Default Anyone in the Tacoma/Seattle Area?

Fellas,
I'll be getting back to the Tacoma/Olympia/Seattle area in a few weeks and figured since I just moved there right before I deployed I'd see if there are any riders in the area who can point me toward a few good routes to hit for a day or afternoon. I have 9 months of missed riding to make up for. If so send a reply or a PM. Thanks. Later,

clown

What's your interests and time to spend riding?

I assume your at Ft. Lewis (I refuse to call it JBLM)

Weather a factor?

Here's a place that's just east of the base Vintage Motorcycles NW- check their collection of motorcycles upstairs.

Used to live in the area. lots of goods riding. Check out the outer islands or do the cascade loop when it gets warmer.

Thanks for the links ands suggestions, fellas. I've checked out Sound Rider but I still like to get a personal perspective and the other islands sound like a really good idea, too.

Sling Blade - 1) Weather isn't a factor so long as I can still feel my hands. 2) I like to take off and ride all day if I can. Otherwise half day rides are cool. I'm thinking about taking a ride over to the bike show in Spokane in March. I'm always up for meeting new people to ride with.
By the way, I'm a WI native and I love the pic of your bike covered in snow. It would make a great Christmas card haha. And yes - Ft Lewis until July 2014. From there, wherever I want to go!

Yep, where you're at you can go either to the mountains, Pacific Ocean, Canada... it all depends of what you need.

Another place to see close by..

If you are stationed at Lewis, you can always take Pacific Hwy and go towards Mt. Rainier. Always been a favorite of mine, but apparently alot of other riders too. Might run into a lil traffic around Eatonville if you go on a sunny weekend.

Or if you don't mind riding TO the "ride," Hwy 20 from around Sedrow-Woolley is an awesome ride too.
