Default Almost got it all wrapped up

I'm almost finished with everything that I wanted to get done this winter but I'm having an issue with the quick connect that is on the fuel tank to the fuel line. I reconnected it yesterday and filled the tank but when I started her up it starting leaking through it. Not a large amount but not just a drip here or there either so I am wondering what could be causing this? I had the tank fixed and painted this last summer but don't think that is the cause of the problem. Is there a gasket or seal I should replace? Also changing my front turn signals out to the "egg" style from Lick's Cycles but a bit confused on how to wire it from the stock chrome turn signals. I appreciate any ideas fellas, thanks.

Mine leaked once also after reconnecting it. After researching for the gasket and discovering H-D (at least at the time) would not sell just the gasket but only the whole assembly, I just reconnected it again and gave it a gently twist back and forth a few times. It never leaked again.

There is an o-ring inside where the fuel line goes in the bottom of the tank that sits in a groove. Sometimes it gets pulled out of place, you can use a small flathead to gently get it back in where it needs to be
