Default Easiest/cheapest route to 80-90hp

I've got an 08 Dyna with screaming eagle slipons, but otherwise stock (performance wise).

I've got an air cleaner kit that I haven't bolted on.

What is the cheapest way forward to ~80-90 HP?

If your going to run cams, go for a tuner. Probably in lower 80s for hp, 90s for tq. I have SE 204, K&N a/c, Bassani 2-1, and TMAX. Get 84hp. If your trying to save $$, can find a used PCIII and try a canned map. But a tuner will squeeze out a few extra ho. Each Dyno will give you different numbers and really up to a good tuner.

You can get to 80hp with a good 2-1 exhaust, open A/C, and a quality tuner and dyno time and keep a stock motor.

I think you might be rather lucky to get that, unless the tuner has his finger on the scale

More typical numbers without a cam swap are mid 70s.

But anyway, don't get hung up chasing a big peak number. That doesn't improve rideability. For that you want the largest area under the torque graph i.e. don't invest in shoving all the power up into some RPMs you almost never use.

^+1. Sound advice. Torque is what it's important.
