Default Wheel Fitment Help

I’m hoping some of you guys can give a bagger guy some info. I’m looking for a rear wheel for a wide rear tire mod (170-180) involving fender mods and a belt to chain drive conversion for my 05 bagger.

I’ve heard some of the Dyna’s and Softails have 4.5-5.5 wide rear wheels that have the same hub width as the 05 baggers. The problem I’m having is finding out which model year wheels to look for. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,
Rick

i know heartlandbiker.com makes wide tire conversions for sporties, dynas, and softails. and newer baggers come stock with wider tires. i know my dads 2010 ultra has a 200 on the back. i believe 07-09 had 180 for the bagger. maybe double check that and shop around for a wheel that fits those years.

Thanks for the reply. The later baggers have the cush drive built in to the wheel which requires a wider swingarm. In order to use one of those I would have to mod the swingarm. I'm hoping to avoid that.
