Default Reluctantly traded 12' Sporty for 09' LR

Well I needed a little more room for the wife so after much deliberation I went to a local dealer with the intention of trading for a 10' SG. Rode 7 bikes and fell in love with the Low Rider.

I have a couple of questions:

Can I do 8" minis without changing cables/wiring?

Stock seat sucks. I loved the Sundowner I put on my Sporty. Will a Sundowner be about the same on the dyna?

Thanks

Pics coming

Bike looks great. For seats I would recommend Mustang.

Not the best looking but the sundowner is pretty comfy. I like the mustang wide vintage a lot better. The sundowner will set you up and forward.

Default Try It 1st!

Go to the dealer and see if they offer the try a seat program that Harley has. You'd get to try it BEFORE you buy it! It's worth asking!!!

BTW - Nice looking scooter!

I will say this. Having a sixth gear is nice and the LR handles great. I really thought Id be giving up handling. I do miss the wide front tire on the sporty. The LR grabs the groove in the road more. Can I go a little wider than stock in the front?

Nice looking bike!
After a few miles on the Dyna you'll be glad you traded.
There are many seat choices...the Mustang Wide Touring & Corbin dual tour have a good combination of comfort and looks and quality is top notch.
With HD seats, the Sundowner and Touring seats are the most comfortable, but not the best looking and don't compare to the Mustang or Corbin in quality IMO.
