Default Rearview mirrors suck on 103" Street Bob?

Is it just me or are the mirrors as useless as **** on a bullfrog on a stock 103" Street Bob?

I've had several 88" and 96" Dynas over the years and I don't remember any of them having near as much vibration through the mirrors as my '13 SB.

(Otherwise, I love the bike!)

I get a fair amount of vibration on my Fat Bob as well. Can see there's something behind you, but with no clarity. (Police, for an example.) I'd be interested if anyone has found a better mirror or some other solution.

I never had the issue. Mirrors are shaking at idle and low RPM, but not blurred. I wonder if the lower bars transmit more vibration.

How's your tune? Stock, stage 1? I know I read it when you got the bike, just can't remember.

100% stock. You may have a point about the lower bars. RJHD's description is spot on - you can see that there's something behind you but that's about it.

Good point. I have poly bushings and no mirror issues (except for the elbows that are generally displayed.)

They do give you a good view of whats behind you, but like you said you can't see it cause they are vibrating so much.

So the poly bushings help with the over all vibes in the bar?

Thats what I've herd, also the bars will feel firmer and have a little better control. They won't move around as much.
