"Retro" fit for 08 FXDC Cont.
As posted earler, it's tough to ride when there’s a half mile of ice between the garage and the highway so Dec through Feb left time for a “Retro” fit on my 2008 FXDC.
Pics show the end stages of my 08 FXDC winter project.
Pic 1. The new fender didn’t come down as far in front so I installed a rubber mud flap against the frame to protect the back side of the engine from road sludge.
Pic 2. All the pieces fit. Yeah, I was a little surprised too…
Pic 3. Finished product. The LED tail lamp under the cowl is from Blue Collar Bobbers. It's an exceptional product at an affordable price. Wish I owned stock in their company.

Now the ice is all but gone and the Red River Run in Santa Fe is calling. Workin’ on em is fine fun but ridin’ is what they’s made fer.
