DIY fender light Mod, DONT?
A valid attempt to upgrade the weak LEDs in the wrap around fender tail didnot go well!
On assembly of the red reflector lens the amount of marine grade siliconemakes it nearly impossible to free the lens from the mounting body. Unless in piecesis ok.
The only way would be to cut from the back side the PCB mount section from the main section andepoxy it back in place after the MOD.
I am upgrading to LED brake light and was going to purchase the fender atthe same time so I thought I would give it a try/ fail!
Anybody pull this off I would like to hear about/ with some pic would be cool.
