Default 2012 Fat Bob purchase warrenty help

hey im new here. i just bought a 2012 fat bob new from the dealer as a leftover. can anybody tell me if the extended warrenty is worth the money. its a 5 year plan (7 total is u add the 2 year factory) and its 1,400$. it dose not include tire repairs, thats a 500$ option. i know im not going to be putting 20k miles on it in a year, but has anybody had any issues with the new fat bobs (103 6 speed) and needed work done under warrenty? i need to give them an answer by monday so please help with my desicion. BTW, its my first bike!!!

Personally, the extended warranty option is not for me. Harley already has enough of my money when I buy the bike plus you get 2 yrs included anyway.
Skip it!

Extended warranties are the dealers best money maker. I had a 2010 Fatbob 17k miles only problem was the exhaust bracket was broken when I traded it in. Mike

I never buy extended warranties but I am pretty sure HD will hit you up when your factory warranty is up and offer you an extended warranty.

Only problem I have noticed with my 2012 Fat Bob is the rear wheel alignment. At first I thought it was an axle spacer problem or something but when I had the rear fender off about a week ago I could tell that the rear tire is tilted to the left a bit. Got my carpenter level out to check and sure enough it is off. I would make the Dealer fix it, but I have the True Track stabilizers on and they probably would balk. So I am going to fix it myself doing the Vehicle Alignment procedure. Anyway, I agree with the rest - skip the extended warrantee and take care of your bike yourself as much as you can.
