Default Good deal for a 2012 leftover street bob?

hey guys, new here. previously owned a iron 883 and now looking into a street bob. my local dealer has a 2012 in denim black I'm thinking of buying. Everything included in this deal is tax, tags ,registration, delivery and prep fee. also they are giving me all the following accessories: reach seat, passenger pegs, detachable sissy bar and backrest pad, turn signal relocation kit for the sissy bar. now to performance they are giving me short shots, HD heavy breather and a power commander 5. all of this will be installed and HD will be giving me a dyno tune at end of break in. the price of the deal we ended at was 15,400 OTD.

would love to hear if you guys think this a deal or should i opt and go for a hd1 street bob with a 103.

thanks!

If you like it, it's not too bad. However they are not really "giving you" anything here if you add up the base price and with all these extras and tax. For a left over '12 you can probably get them down some more. Just my 2 cents.

That is a pretty dang good price with all the extras...The MSRP is 12999... the accessories are at least another 1500 when you add in the dyno tune...Then you gotta add tax...It's a decent deal...No matter what you pay, all the "Master Negotiators" on here will say you paid too much. They all walked in to the dealer and had him BEG them to take the bike...I mean BEG...Wish I could find one of these dealers but they only exist in BS land...I wouldn't get the reach seat unless you are REAL short. If your issue is the forwards being to far, get the reduced reach forward kit. It makes a world of difference. I have a short inseam and it make the difference for me on a Wideglide...

If that is OTD it seems like a really good deal. Just remember, if your happy with what you paid, thats all that matters. I love my Dyna, there great bikes.

thanks guys, and yeah the price of the bike before the dealer discounted it OTD was about 17,800. so they knocked off about $2,300. The parts and labor were close to $2500 alone. plus black denim adds $400 on top of the 12,999 MSRP.

My only hesitation would be the lack of the 103"...Everyone that has the 96" will tell you it's not worth the money but WTF would they know...they don't have the 103"

Any miles on it? I know locally that rented bikes sell as new cuz they haven't been titled yet. and If you can wrap all the xtras in the loan it doesn't sound bad. I do like my 103 though. Good luck
And like the smart guys say, as long as your happy...
If your getting a break they'll end up sticking it to me next time! LMAO

Get them down lower. I got a leftover 2010 fat bob in 2011 for 12.5k out the door. I went to 3 dealerships and pitted them against one another. Don't be afraid to walk either. Shake their hand say thanks but I have a better offer, and walk.

I also got a $600 credit to purchase accessories when I bought it. Sounds like they are doing something similar with you, but you shouldn't be counting that towards the purchase cost. These are things they should just throw in as incentives.
