Default 13 streetbob, thunderheaders hard to install?

just wondering the overall level of installing thunder headers

i read the bracket is a little bit hard to put on ive seen threads though mainly ppl have problems with the 4th bolt by the trans cover because the cable is in the way most ppl said they were able to get to that allen bolt by using a ball tip allen

are the pipes all one piece on TH's? meaning no clamps? that connect the systems pipes together?

A thunderheader is one piece so it does make it a little tricker than one that disassembles. It's completely do-able for a typical back yard mechanic. Just be patient and take your time.

I used a cinder block and a heavy towel to support the muffler (its heavy) and start working your way up from the jugs to the heads its not hard at all follow the instructions. I tried the SE gaskets they didnt work leaked back went back to the big stockers

The way the bracket attaches at the transmission cover is the biggest pain about the install. Overall it is a very simple install. It is far easier than a multi piece exhaust.

Yea man just be patient. If you have an extra set of hands to help maneuver the pipe while mounting it that can be a big help. I did it by myself with some patience but I have been extra careful to tape off/protect parts close to the heads and put some towels down on the ground for when the pipe touches. I didn't have a hard time with the brackets for some reason (that bracket that slides around the pipe does need to be spread apart a bit) but actually maneuvering the pipe onto the heads and getting my bolts lined up was my biggest struggle. Since running the pipe for a while and few reinstalls I would say that it fits much better now and this process is easier.
