Default Bars for my 2012 Wide Glide

Hello all, new to Hdforums. Cruised around the site looking for inspiration for what style of bars I will be getting for my bike but still havent found exactly what I'm lookin for. I'm 6'2'' looking for more "pullback" than the stock bars provide me with maybe a little more rise as well ?? . Looking to reduce that forward lean to a more relaxed position. Any tall guys out there have some input on what handle bars are comfortable and look sharp ? also does anyone know the stock handle bar specs ?

thanks!

Welcome to the site. Im in the same position as you are at 6'3. I have decided to go with ape hangers. If you want to keep the stock style set up I would think adding 2" spacers to your risers might help. With the rake of the wide glide any change in height will bring the bars closer to you. Either that or change it 8" straight risers.

Welcome to the forums, I am not quite as tall- 6'1". But I plan on going to an 8" rise with drag bars. As said above, apes may fit the bill. You can have them rotated back towards you for more pull back as needed.

I have carlini's 7" clean sweeps rise and they dont sit very high at all probably about same as stock. Even 9" would not be all that high. I am only 5'6" and my bars are perfect for me. Hope this helps! For a taller guy I would think apes are your best bet as far as comfort is concerned.

Thanks for your input guys, I will post pics when i have decided and have added the bars. I like the Z style apes with the narrow bottom, think it would flow nicely with the style of the bike, but i also like the drag style. . I do like the tall drag bars, but i often see bikes with those bars that also have the small fairing attached and i wonder if its to hide the bars or they just like the look of it?
