I got a 04lowrider and I need the handle bars closer so I don't have to lean over so much on along ride. Anybody ever change lowrider bars for more upright position.I don't want ape hangers.I thought maybe softtail standard or super glide? Any help?

Try a set of risers angled back to you this way you can keep your bars (remember the height taller they go up : )
There are all kinds of angles or bends if you go that route replace the bushings (you can beef them up also.)
Doesn't the lowrider already have pullback risers? Anyway regular superglide bars will give you more pull back.I have Flanders wide flat track bars on my Bob and I like em but they won't give you more pull back.Go down to your local dealer and sit on a bunch of bikes and you'll probably find something you like.
56154-04 Softail Standard bars would be good as would the 56330-00 pullback Deuce bars.
The Standard bars are 30" wide, 5.75" tall with 9.25" pullback.
The Deuce bars are 31" wide, 5" tall with 9" pullback.
(The numbers on the website and in the catalog are wrong, these numbers are from an '02 catalog.)
I had a set of these with FXDL risers on my Wide Glide.
The chrome FXDL 56055-01 bars are 30.25" wide, 3.75" tall with 4.75" pullback.
I put stock bars from a Heritage Softail and love them. Go to the local dealer and ask them to let you see how you like the shape by putting them on top of your current bars. That's how I came up with the bars I used.
